Equipping Student Leaders

OneLife Africa is an international partnership of friends that share the love of Jesus Christ with the poor, promote human transformation, seek justice and bear witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God through youth mentoring, education scholarship, entrepreneurship support and community service.

The application, interviewing and selection process for OneLife Africa class of 2012 has ended. We received over 500 formal applications from qualified students, but based on the funding and mentoring capacity, we have invited 50 new students to join OneLife Africa mentoring & Scholarship program class of 2012. We are so greateful to our supporters who have sacrifically given their time and resources to ensure that we can financial and logistically support a total of 73 students. 1 studying law at the university of Nairobi law school and 72 students are attending national and provincial boarding high schools in Kenya. Our students contnue to show dedication in their academic work as evidenced by their performance at the top 10% of their various high schools. The holiday mentoring sessions allow us to walk alongside of these students, counselling and guiding them, the camping opportunities allow them to learn problem solving skills, build relationships and gain confidence by envisioning a future full of possibilities.
